Jorge Madrid

During his day job with the Environmental Defense Fund, Jorge, along with a few partners created Eastside Sol to educate and inspire residents of East LA about solar, EVs and other clean energy options. Through the annual Eastside Sol event, Jorge has also helped mobilize the community and create awareness. Jorge now has community partners helping him carry the project forward and it may muture into its own non-profit, but it is still a passion project outside of his day to day work.
